"Digital Wedding Photography, Capturing Beautiful Memories" by Glen Johnson is a good manual for all aspects of wedding photography. Another good book is "The Bride's Guide to Wedding Photography" by Steve Sint, this one is written for brides but is very good at developing on ideas.

The 50mm f1.7 is a good choice for "art" images.

OK todays the day and I will be leaving in a couple of hrs, it's raining right now *groans* but may clear up I hope. I am going to use the 50mm 1.7 AF and bring the flash just in case.
My biggest fear is getting the sharpness throughout the pictures , anymore last min advice before I go ?

I'm no professional photographer, but my advice is to take some deep breaths (not while shooting :-)) and most of all enjoy the day. You'll do fine.

Looking forward to your results.

Gah, Rain! I was going to do my kid's soccer game today but the rain stopped it. Hopefully everything goes well, you don't have to worry about the sun blowing highlights, at least!

Can't wait to see what we know will be excellent work!

Great job, Sandra!! I really like the b&w of the kids & the close-up of the bouquet! Looks like you did a wonderful job of capturing the spontaneous shots...which can be the best! That look on the bride's face in the "garter" shot is priceless!

Hope you had a good time as well!!!
Ron

PS...I'll be checking your site in next few days to see the rest...looking forward to it!
