Just back from a 3 week holiday in Instria / Croatia, and now busy with post processing the small bunch of pictures I've taken during the trip.
(ca 30gb - less than I expected).

Most of the shot's during these weeks have been with a tamron 18-200,
and after going over the results, I'm really happy to have gotten that lens.

As soon as I've processed the lot, I'll be posting a link to them, including some of the better ones.

Just to show how impressed I'm with the tammy some close ups with it.

Enjoy - Ronny

Not new Roy, but ... :-) ... when getting this lens (9 months ago) as walk around lens I was a bit distrusting the 18-200 mm range.

Now ... I'm just happy to have gotten it.

Ronny, really nice shots. I like the subject of the grasshopper and the sharpness of the lizard. Not bad for a lens that a lot of critics panned because of its supposedly excessve range!

Julianne,

for as far as my experience goes, the lens is more than descent.
The only drawback it has is it's speed at 200mm (f6.3).
With enough light certainly no problems.

As a counter to the close ups here's a combination of 2 shots at 18mm, from the tribridge, Ljubliana Slovenia.

Lovely shots Ronny.

I was considering this range for my other half, so she never has to change a lens again, and can have a smaller bag.

Judging by the quality of you shots, I may have to buy this for her.

Those are nice closeups Ronny, but the Panorama looking down the canal is outstanding!
