Great shot... what body did you use? Did you try using SR while panning? I am interested to see the results of panning with and without SR... maybe I will try it today at the lake.

Well, Targa Newfoundland is coming up this month, perhaps I will get a chance to try out something interesting. Hmmm... Perhaps I should just photograph them with one of my new lenses. Anyway I figured if I get one you'll have to get one as well

Shake reduction is not an option with my trusty DS.

However, a smooth panning action is very resistant to unwanted movement, and the lens was mounted on a monopod.
