I think this fits, as the details of the trumpets and theOmmpaa band at a festival in our little city of Kandern.

These are all intersting shots! Eddie - I like the new picture, too (for anyone following this thread, check it out). Glenn - yours is definitely a detail - nice use of a smal DOF.

Nick and xfx I like the DOF on both of those. The flower looks as though its exploding out of the petals. Richard I like anything to do with Model Railroading. I used to have an O guage Lionel as a kid and then had a fairly large HO layout later on. Given up both since we move around so much in our present position.

Bump. It's only the 15th, there should be more coming in soon, right?

There should indeed, as long as you bend the "Pentax" ruke and allow a humble GX-10 to take part.

This is the important part of a Manchester street light.

You make a good point - of course the Samsung cameras are accepted! I'm way too used to thinking of them as being the same - I shouldn't assume that everyone else thinks that, too. I'll go back and edit the first post to specify Pentax/Samsung dSLR cameras (any variety).

And I like your picture, too!

Me too! It's just that on one of the Pentax forums that I joined after buying the Samsung I received a very snooty response. "Why would anyone want to read about a Samsung?" was the gist. Needless to say I didn't stay there long.
