Bump. It's only the 15th, there should be more coming in soon, right?

There should indeed, as long as you bend the "Pentax" ruke and allow a humble GX-10 to take part.

This is the important part of a Manchester street light.
you're always welcome.

Interesting pictures coming in - I love the rust, and the dime is quite a macro.

I wasn't going to enter anything this month - my first picture won't qualify as it was not taken this month - however, I can't resist posting this one. I took it today as I was taking a walk around the block and visiting some of my favorite gardens. I happened to glance at the chain link fence I was trying to shoot through, and thought it was interesting all by itself.

Elvis has left the building.

Taken with the Vivitar 70-210mm f3.5 on macro mode.

Inspired by both Harriet's pictures! Love the fire hydrant and fence!!

Thanks for your support mtngal! I love the way your chain links appear to "hug" each other and the detail you've managed to capture. "Rust" is a tiny tiny part of a rather large pier in Cromer, England. It stretches out into the sea quite a distance.

It's not graffiti - it's weathering. I'm not sure what metal the fence is made out of, but it isn't your usual fencing (isn't chain link usually something like aluminum or??? that doesn't rust or weather?). I might have thought it was copper, but that doesn't make any sense - do they make chain-link in copper? In any case, the water marks are pretty in their own right.

Ok, I've been practicing and decided that I would change my mind one last time (never mind, too close to someone else's image). Back to the guitar!
