for me this is a case where the colour really works
it has heaps of impact

(i would crop of the bright leaf to the right though on both photos)

I agree with Gumnut. The colour of this flower is what makes it really beautiful, and there is all reason to emphasize that by cropping out some of the greens.

Colour for me too Dawg, love plenty saturation. ... In nature you don't see monchrome flowers, so why display them that way ?. Just my thoughts. ... Jack.
