Well, I joined here after getting mine from Nick. I bought mine because of the glowing accolades that forum member BillyM gave his. I actually trust very few peoples' opinions, and Billy is one of them. Anyhow, After falling in love with this thing, I brought Dad's old Canon SLR stuff home, put it on ebay and got him a DS as well. He took delivery today! As I am some 300+ miles from home, Billy is going to stop by Dad's tonight and give him some tips. I knew Billy would fit in here well. He's had a Pentax as long as I've known him (and that's pretty long...).

It's always nice to see Ira post photos taken with his DS - I still sometimes regret selling it, because it's such a nice camera. I'm happy to see it have a good home and from what you've posted so far, it looks like Nick's camera has a good home too. Stick around while you enjoy a very good camera.
