I've been thinking of changing photo hosting sites. I've used several different ones over the years some for use here and some to host photos of vacations. One of the ones I've always liked for vacation albums is closing and now I'm thinking of putting everything on one site. So this is partly a test to see if I've got things figured out, and partly to see what others here think of the simple album I've put up (I have a trial membership at the moment).

This is a picture I took this morning in front of my house. I have no idea what the border plant is - it was here when I moved in, and I've generally ignored it for the past 8 years.

To see the rest of the album, it's located at: http://mtngal.zenfolio.com/p837721830/?photo=80973857- let me know what you think. I've actually looked at two other photo hosting sites, but think this one offers the most of what I want and was very easy to use (it's also less expensive than the other two). The trial membership lasts until this coming Friday.

Wonderful photo. Your raindrop is perfect.

Sorry about choosing the same title for the thread I posted today. I didn't notice yours until I had posted or I would have used a little different title.

That raindrop is amazing, but the second grapeleaf image with all the little stars in them (flash or sun?) wowed me even more.

I like the site, it's very easy to navigate and quick to load even on my old machine and DSL connection.

The first two pictures (the one above is one of them)were taken with the on-board flash, the second two were available light. The neat thing about the website is that it doesn't take the exif information out of the photo file (did you notice, Roy?). You can also see the information on the album (there's a tab for viewing the file information). It seems like an easy site to use for uploading and putting things together - wondered if others would find it easy to navigate also. I think I'll probably join it.

Paul - I think we probably worked on/posted our topics right around the same time. Besides, what else would you call a thread that starts out with that lovely flower covered with small water drops? Wonderful picture!

I can see forever in that single drop you captured so perfectly.

I just don't understand how you glued a glass marble onto that leave

great find.

Just browsed your website, look good and works great.

Rony - LOL! I know what you mean - I went out later to try to re-shoot the water drop (wanted to use something for more support and try to get a little closer) but they were all gone. I wish it had been a marble glued to a leaf!
