Whle working in Manchester recently I remembered to take my camera. Off I went one evening and found myself on the top floor of a car park. Here are a few of teh photos I took:

The first is the Manchester Eye (or whatever they call it). Unsurprisingly I took a lot of pics of this but as they were all hand held, many are slightly fuzzy - the SR can only help so much!






Same wheel, different angle, with Manchester Cathedral in the background:






And one final shot






Having mentioned the cathedral, here it is:





And again. I know this is probably too dark but I like the silhouette effect against the deep red sky.

Cool series of pictures - love them all. The tops of parking garages can make good places for picture taking. I've been known to use the wall of one to stabilize the camera if I don't have a tripod. Another good example of making sure you carry your camera whenever you can.

whoa, that spiral ramp makes me dizzy just looking at it! pretty awesome shots though, thanks for sharing.
