Snooked for me & then Ira's boats! Another month's worth of fine ideas.

I cast my vote for Gfurm's camel. The "in your face" perspective and contrast in color between the subject and background, a well focused image, together with a very unique mode of transportation makes this my top choice!

Roy - I had a really tough time this month. You are right that there are more than just two, there were about 6 that I could (and almost did) vote for, all for different reasons. I'd never make a true photography judge because there's just so much to decide - one picture excels in one area, while another is better at something else. Who's to say which one is the better photo? My vote reflected my emotional reaction at the moment I hit "send" - tomorrow I could prefer the tractor (which I do think is VERY cool).

My vote goes to Jelpee. I really like the black and white boats from Ira, but it's Jelpee's subject that, for me, fit's the best in the contest , and taken very well. We don't see those around here that close :-)

Richard.

Agreed that there were a lot of awesome entries. But the pict I was looking at a lot longer belongs to Harriet. Cannot figure it where she was when taking the pict. Very sharp given that it was a 300mm shot. My vote goes to her. Amazing shot

Daniel

p.s. And we all know she is pretty good in hiding her pict

Nobody has closed off voting yet, so I'll throw mine in, although it won't make any difference in the outcome. I like the Jet and Son as well as the donkey, but I will vote for Fred2726's Late Nite Flight for its originality and striking color. I wonder what the source of the illumination is?

Well, it's very, very close. Is there anyone else who wants to vote? Maybe we can call a close to voting tomorrow (Thursday)at midnight, Hawaii time?
