Silhouette & Fall Colors

I just didn't have a chance to get the train with fall colors this year. I knew a lot of leaves had already fallen but I had a extra hour so I figured I would try to get what color was left.

Holy Smokes (no pun intended:-))...No 2 is drop dead gorgeous! It belongs on the pages of a calendar. Composition (form, color, and perspective) as well as the lighting and sharpness are A1. As a railfan, I am in awe!! Very nicely done indeed Roger.

The second one is classically beautiful, and the best of these two. However, I can see why you posted the first one. It appeals to me in some way - shapes etc. Its different and I like it.

Roger, I'm with Jay, Nick 2many and Harriet. The pictures make you want to take time to just plain enjoy the scenery, the train and the little slice of Americana!
