Took my family to the fair and shot the whole trip exclusively with my $100 Tamron XR Di 28-75/2.8.

Here's a cute shot I got of my daughter playing with a Plasma Lightning ball... she had so much fun.

(This one was actually shot through the ball, pretty cool IMHO.)

that's a great shot to put in her scrapbook. would have never thought to take a shot through the ball, the effect is pretty cool, brillant idea! she sure is growing!

Thanks Ron and Kjell! Ishino... have you rec'd your Tamron 28-75/2.8 yet? I noticed that you bought one off of"unnamed member"on the "unnamed other forums". How are you liking yours?

nope, just closed the deal over the weekend so it should be here sometime later this week. not of great as a deal as yours was, but it was still a goodprice.

Yeah... $280 is the cheapest I have seen it go for... most were selling right at $300.
