Really great shots-makes me want to walk out of my office and start shooting with my new K10d. Keep posting.

Just a nice sky? No. Great exposure of rocks in the tide alone? No. Toss in a rainbow for good measure! Holy cow what a great capture!

These are really wonderful, Bruder! Thanks for reminding what a camera is for

Thanks. I've been at this since July so I am gaining some experience. These were all taken on Maui (Ukumehame, Baldwin Beach, and Hookipa Beach Park).

Really outstanding work!!

Seriously these are some of the best shots I've seen in a long time. What I like is that each is completely different - they aren't three of the same shot.

You really have a great eye for the craft!

And people around here who know me know I don't throw around words like this very often. Truly inspiring work.

You certainlyhave a good eye for a great photograph. Hard to believe it is your first camera - maybe only your first dslr? If it truely is your first camera, then you are a natural and you have been "hiding your light under a bushel basket," as the old saying goes! Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I did have a 35mm Canon Rebel but I rarely used it and never made any decent pictures. I did get a few out of my little PowerShot S300. But I love the K10D!

Living on Maui gives me good opportunities for photography. These were taken a few hours ago, handheld (thanks Pentax!), with my 300mm Kilfitt lens that's probably 50 years old.
