I dont know what these are, but there eating up my plants.







Taken with the 28 -70mm Macro, wind was blowing so hard to get a good focus.

Dawg,

Yes I do beleive its some type of catapillar, but there are also a ton of young ones no more than 1/4 inch long, this was probably an adult about 1 inch long.

This is an Oleander Caterpillar, the larva of the Polka-dot Wasp Moth. It is a tropical American wasp-mimicking moth, introduced to Florida long ago with exotic plants. I grew up in Florida and I remember being fascinated by these beautiful diurnally active moths and their caterpillars which were commonly found on Oleanders.

Below is a photograph of a prepared specimen of the adult taken from the internet.

thank you, thats what I saw on my oleanders today, so now I know what it is and how to maybe protect my oleanders from it, they eat every leaf.
