I have decided that it is in my better judgement to changeover to another brand system due to the readily available (and cheaper) long/fast glass, faster burst rates, and faster AF systems. I will miss ya'll and will return on occasion to post. I'm sorry that I have had to do this, butwith my love ofsports photography, this day would come eventually anyway.

You can still drop over you know where Inn. We don't discriminate.

Yeah Dawg... I might be over there. I wonder where Boily got off to. I heard he went with the same brand.

I understand your reasoning to make the change. I did the same thing last year. There is only one exception out there that I know of that makes a living with Pentax shooting sports (surfing). Other than that, the other two brandshelp make a living for those who shoot sports.

Look forward to more baseball pics from you.

Have as much fun collecting lenses for your new system - it's always interesting learning a new system.

I don't know where he got off to...I miss him a lot! You didn't name the brand either.

Very understandable...I've though about it too, but can't let go of some of my MF lenses. It'd be great glass wasted.

Let us know how it works out with the new system!

Hope to hear from you from time to time... maybe to give us your personal opinion on how they compare. BTW, which brand is it?

I go through this from time to time as well. I even considered using two systems since I love the Pentax primes too much. The system right now just lacks in choices big time and I do not have an eternity to wait for them to get it right.

Hope to see you around. I almost went the other way for the same reason but internal SR won me out :)
