Neat pictures - we might have had snow in September, but it was 94 F today at lunchtime at work (about 20 miles from the ocean). Winter can't come soon enough for me!

I can't understand how anyone can miss winter. I would swap english weather for californian any time :-)

The good thing about winter is that it signals the end to fire season. And there's been major fires burning off and on all summer. This week has been horrible for much of SoCal, and it won't be over until we get some rain. This is the first year I can remember where all 4 SoCal national forests have been completely closed. I'm sure there are a number of hunters who are very unhappy at the moment.

Nice work on the frost pictures Greg. And if you are trading weather, you should really trade for Florida weather, not boring old California weather. We could use some nice cool English weather here too.
