I digged a few out. One of wifey and me and the other from a trip abroad in France on the bike. Yes the pose with the bike is a bit odd but hey my legs were a bit dead after riding 650 miles in one day......

Just a note...TC3's posting is officially the 100th in this thread, and this thread has been viewed more than 4000 times, making it third in popularity in all the threads posted on this board (behind only the flash thread and the "What you got?" equipment thread).

Just a tip of the cap to roy for starting this thread. I have truly enjoyed being able to put faces with the names of some of the talented people from whom it has been a pleasure to learn since I began hanging around this forum. Most of us are sointerested in the subjects in front of our lenses that we forget we can be interesting subjects to others (not to mention that we don't like to let others play with our pretty little Pentax toys).

Again, thanks roy for starting a great thread.

Paul

I really hate the "I was here" pictures. I can't believe that I actually consented to letting someone else push the shutter on my camera. I can't believe I'm actually posting this...

Happy Holidays! Here I am taking some pictures of a christmas parade put on by students with special needs in Port of Spain Trinidad.

If you are interested, the gallery is here:

Here is me "liming" on a beach. "Liming" is Trini for chillin or hanging out.

I am now back in Toronto, and the weather is a little bit different!

Hey Tom, nice to have a face to put with the name, you, Roy, Kjell, Danieland Harriet were my first regular contacts on here (and Harriet is still incognito, hiding behind that K10D ). Since then the list has kept growing. A great little community we have here from the South Pacific to Sweden and all points between.

Ira
yes sir , i remember those old days. i wasn't sure for awhile if this forum would ever make being a hit but it's happily done quite well. as Ira has said, we are a well rounded group.
Tom, oops, i had you pegged totally different. thanks for straightening me out.

I remember my early days here, too - where Ira, Roy and Tom patiently answered all my questions and a number of people (some still around, others have moved on) posting perfect picture after perfect picture. It's been a fun couple of years, this journey of exploring photographic possibilities. It's also fun to see what others look like - do I look like how you imagined, Roy, or did your computer break when it came to me? We do seem to have quite a mix here - that's good!
