Hello, long time no see! (well a few weeks)

Been taking loads of photo's, but not had any time to go through them, and just bought a MacBook, so have been struggling to un-learn years of working on Windows. Kind of liked this one, realise I messed up the frame a bit, but thought I would share it and see what people thought.

Thanks for looking!

I work with middle and high school kids and as soon as I saw this picture I immediately pictured one studenttrying to fit in, but not really able. Avery meaningful picture to me as we have that situation right now and it is, as you so aptly titled your photo, lonely.

Interesting. Normally I don't like having OOF parts in the foreground, especially as prominent as your mushrooms, but it works with this picture. Your frame works with the b&w picture, the whole thing is simple and rather elegant (that's probably the wrong word, trying to say that it's not over-done).

b&w isn't my thing but I really like this shot.

it really tells a story.

Thanks everyone, glad people liked it (especially those who normally don't like this type of image)

Need to find the time to go through all the other photo's. Will be on a train for 2 hours next week, so may take my laptop and use the free time to work on some more.
