I love taking photos of clouds. Have tons of them. Unfortunately, like others, outside of the 90 day window. This was taken a month or so ago on our way back from Montreal. Will keep my eyes open over the month for something better. I don't like the sun in this one.

Dear folks and especially our esteemed monthly challenge moderator, Here is a cloud scape that was stitched together from 3 photos. I don't know that we want a picture that has been that processed to be in the contest. Let me know what you all think. I can find or take another if this is deemed unsuitable.

For those following my little trips, I am back in the Solomon Islands, well at least for another month.

I am now working on a small island called Tulagi, very very nice, very very small.

As I was returning to Tulagi from Honiara I was watching the clouds following me, I saw ahead on the island of Tulagi a small set of clouds in an otherwise clear set of skys.

and it neatly raining in just one spot. By the time I got there it had stopped.

Here's my picture.

Enjoy,

Crash

This is the one I would have liked to post..

Eddie, I like the first better than the second, although they are both good. I think I like thefirst because it isnot your typical cloud picture. Most of ours will be from the bottom looking up!

Eddy - I like your entry (the first one) better than your second one, but that's probably because I would have posted something like that one if I could take one this month. I love looking down on clouds, which are surrounding mountains like that.

The interesting is how we all look at the topic differently - I would have expected more sunrises/sunsets than what's been posted so far. I love it that we are a more creative lot than that (and I'm one who posted a sunrise picture, with a sunset taken in September as another possible choice). This is a fun topic, and everyone has posted interesting shots so far.

Clouds are my favorite things to shoot. With my work schedule the night time is when I see them most.
