Looking throug some unassorted pictures from this summer I found this, bringing back memories from a time when there was daylight even in the evening. I call this "welcome home, mummy".

What did you overlook when you downloaded your pics this year?

Nice shot in good light! Summer seems long gone from here, so only four months to go until spring since we got snow early this year.

How cute! The little one's front end is stopping before the back end can. :-)

Can't beat welcomes like that Kjell. This is a neat thread idea. Here is mine, one half of six kids on a see-saw/teeter-totter. If I had placed the focus slightly better and used a smaller aperture for more DOF it would have been a keeper.

I know there are several thousand I've not taken the time to post process....See what I can dig up...Like that one for the subdued light and the subjects.

Tim...That is a keeper!!!!

Wow, Kjell! I love that one, glad it didn't stay over-looked.

Tim, I agree that the photo has its faults (just like you said) but it is still quite charming.

There are some pictures from August that I haven't really done anything with, but don't think they are special like these are. Except for the flash pictures this weekend, I've been feeling very uninspired, and my pictures reflect that.

Kjell and Tim, those are beautiful. They really express the fun of summer! This one is from a group of high school girls getting ready to walk in a wine parade. They are wearing traditional Black Forest dress.
