A tough choice between Abby's sled and Jelpee's wall.

Both are very worthy images in their own way.

I am choosing purely on the artisitic endeavour of Abby's sled and not on the strong emotional impact that Jelpees wall image generates in those who see it.

Abby's Sled gets my vote.

Another fine month for worthy entries & while jelpee's Wall is very moving shot, I find myself going back to the "snow" shots of Patty's, Ed's "Abby's Sled", & also Ira's "candle"....Ed, that shot belongs on a classic Christmas card & also as a winner for December!

Thanks to all for another months of very enjoyable entries! Although, I still say Roger should have entered that shot of the Mule Buck in the snow from early in the month.

I never followed through on my idea for peace as I got distracted with the ice storm, the holidays and the weather has just been too cold to go out and take pictures especially at night. But my idea was to take a picture of the Oklahoma City National Memorial lit up at night, something about it is just very peaceful, moving and emotional all at the same time.

Wow this month was pretty tough but after thinking abut it for a few days Patty gets my vote for the month. The photo has an unique serenity appeal to it. Great job!

Wow, thanks for all the comments on Abby's sled! My vote goes to Ira's candle. That one captivates me. Lots of great shots though this month!!!

There are a lot of great shots here. Nonetheless, I have to go by which one presents the best 'peace' theme .

My choice is between Patty, golfer and Kjell.

My vote goes to Kjell.

No replies to my previous post in two days, so it's now the 9th and the votes so far tally up:

nhmom- 4

jelpee - 4

Eddie OM35 - 3

Fl_Gulfer - 3

Monza76- 1

Mjell - 1

Nols-1

So unless I counted wrong, we either have a two way tie between Patty and Jelpee, or we need a tie breaker!
