I've posted this on a few other boards, but I'm so excited I have to share. I submitted the pic below to the Pentax Photo Gallery a few weeks ago and they rejected it, but I also put it into the local city run Photo Contest http://www.patronsofthearts.org/ more for fun than anything. Well, it ended up winning Best in Show!! I was surprised, but happy!!

Agreed. I did figure out that they might accept "unknown lens" on an old film shot but it appears they will not accept it on recent digital work. I guess they only want shots taken with Pentax lenses.

I like your shot ccallana and congratulations on the win!

That is a wonderful shot - I can see why your local city run photo contest rated it so highly. Well done!

Try sending an email to photogallery at pentax.com - they will send you access directions.

When the site first opened there was a page where it asked you to enter your code.

I emailed them to ask how one went about getting a code or submitting images. Never heard a thing back!!!

Ccallana

Great Shot! Congrats On the win!!!

I have to agree with Roy. There appears to be no rhyme or Reason to how Pentax picks the shots.
