I go to this web site at least once a week as they have some very good Ideas about using flash. They have up now a Video on using a portable DVD as a playback for shooting photos...Neat Idea.

I've been wondering how well that would work. I've notice many of the cheaper DVD players don't have any input jacks. But on some the screen folds down flat on top of the player. There ought to be a way to make a rig to attach it to the tripod maybe using a ball & socket so its fully adjustable. If your camera has "live view" this could be a great composing aid too.

Interested observer suggested a laptop and the remote assistance software with the v-1,30 firmware upgrade....I'm thinking seriously about it...May be able to talk the wife into getting me one for my birthday. Then fix a mount for the tripod...Could work...
