Ira, great shots of the snow, but, like Roy, I can't conceive of those kinds of snows. Twelve inches of snow is a lifetime event in this area (for me, twice, 1962 & 1988).

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Ed, I love your cotton gin! Were you in Alabama for the Christmas snowfall in 1962? I was in Sheffield visiting my father when it hit....16 inches in the Tri-cities.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Paul
And the one in 1957 along with a few more. Home bound for 2 weeks in 1957 and I lived in Linden Ala. in 62 where it snowed there for the first time on record...Coukl at least make snow men from it....!980 home bound for 1 week.

Too bad Ira! Not the pictures, they are marvellous, but the subject.

We're finally getting winter here. Not much snow so far, but I wish it would stay in one place!

Cool shots Ira.

We were expecting snow on Friday - rained instead. Now we have the sun out.

Who weather forcasters can be accurate!

That's some blowing snow, Kjell! Love the picture, especially since I'm looking out the window at brown trees, icy streets and snow about 300 feet above us (sigh). I'd rather have the snow than the icy streets.

Ira, same here, although today it is above freezing so some is melting.

Nice snow exposures!
