The color on the tree makes this picture more interesting than usual for me. I've never managed to capture one like that - the only times I've tried something similar I've ended up with the tree in silhouette. This is much better.

I'm with Harriet on this one. I love the colors on the tree. I think I might consider cropping some of the dark bottom and the repititive elements on the left side to bring the focus more clearly on the well lit tree.

Really nice photo.
