Very nice shot Terry! Beautiful bird as long as you don't look at his face. :G It doesn't seem to match the rest of him.

I'm contemplating getting a lens with a good reach. That Tamron seems to do the job well.

Really nice capture.

I just line up with the others praising this shot. But I do agree with RedStickMan about "unintelligent design". How do you get this close to the bird?

Actually almost all my bird shots are done on a wildlife refuge, there is a road you drive thru and occasionally you get the close shot.

Your pictures just keep getting better and better. Awesome picture here - that's a lovely bird (I'm not familiar with them at all). It sure looks like you are having a great time with the camera.
