Getting a little better with the manual focus as well. Birds in my front yard love to get amongst the limbs. Auto focus just hunts all day it seems! LOL

I like your shots, Dawg.

When I'm trying to shoot birds amongst the limbs, I don't ever attempt to use AF. I can get focus faster and much better manually.

Dawg, I think Manual focus is best unless you're using a fast prime lens. I like the bright red cardinal. Nicely done!

You know me Eddie...I like manual any way. Just got to get used to the way this one focuses! It has quite a fine movement on it making for more turns to move the focus than most small zooms.

Thank you Glenn! I left the Kodak line so I could get a good manual focus because of shots with the birds among the limbs. I used to try for minutes to get a focus lock with my Dx6490 and most times it focused on the limbs and not the bird!
