The Bi-weekly Shootout Forum topic for the last few days has given me a chance to play with the Sigma 28mm EX f1.8 DG Macro. The first two shots were done shooting into a mirror to play with some DOF effects.

#2 is a brooch made from watch parts. I shot into the mirror, then mirrored it again in post-processing so the numbers would read properly

This was my wife's grandfather's clock. From our research on antique sites, it was probably sold new about 1913.

Finally, a look inside the old clock. This one took a Rube Goldberg photo technique...holding a Ryobi shop flashlight in one hand...holding the K10 in the other, shooting with the battery grip shutter release...while standing with one foot on the couch above which the clock is mounted. I'm just glad I knew where my wife's camera was at the time. A shot of me taking this shot would have been worth countless "honey-do's" in blackmail.
