Ok, it was cold last night, today the wind is howling, spent 3 hours trying to find birds, everything was hiding and everything I took a picture of they just turned out horrid except for this one. But I am finding out many things about the new camera.

Siesta Time, poor guy was all tuckerd out after a hard day at the office.

From his size I'd say he was just big, old & lost his git up and go...Kinda like me!! LOL Stay on the opposite bank from that one... He'd like a small snack! Have you tried any levels work with this one...Could boost it a little!

Thanks Dawg,

Old and slow I am not going to be the one to test him. He was probably laying up in the mud all night because of the cold. his head is still covered in mud makes him look a bit meaner.

I did some pp on it might look a bit better.

He looks like something I'd stay well away from! I like the post processed picture - brings out the quality of the shot better.

Sometimes you guys down South really make me sick, cold and howling wind!!! This is what cold looks like:

Let's see you find an alligator here! Mind you we also only get the leftovers from hurricanes and the only tornadoes we ever see are on TV. Maybe cold isn't all that bad afterall (although today the temperature is minus 19 celsius with a minus 31 wind chill).

Ira
BTW, nice shot.

Hey Ira, I prefer the Florida climate any day. If I'm going to be eaten, at least I want to be a warm tasty meal...
