Those are really good. Your relationship with the Bigma is obviously growing.Everything is getting better and better. The second picture looks as though he is laughing at himself! Great work.

Thank you Glenn. I'm getting more and more consistency in my shots with it as I learn how it wants to shoot. A long lens is not like a wide angle where almost every shot is sharp and crisp. Especially with the small birds that just will not sit still for you to focus on them.

Dawg, I understand you completely. A small bird in a good position and staying still long enough to be photographed is rare indeed! I havedeleted many a small bird picture just because the dumb bird wouldn't sit still! But you seem to be getting some solid images and they are getting crisper and crisper!

These are Some Awesome Shots!!!! You are really Getting the hang of that Bigma.

Keep Up The good Work.

BTW the Northern Cardinal is my favorite bird. This time of year I have about 7 that visit my feeder Daily.

Ed, I am really impressed by your commitment and your improvement with these shots!

Your compositions are getting very good, nice and close, no more branches in the way.

Also your focusing technique is improving exponentially!
