This with k10D and FA 50mm 1.4, at 1.4, just to try new camera and lens.

and this with my old k100d and sigma 70-300 apo macro super ( old version ), at 210mm and f 4.5.

Not bad for a lens that cheap ( too bad I sold it when I went to Canon ).

Examples requested, examples delivered.

I took out my bag in the fine weather and took these. Lenses: FA28mm f2.8, FA35mm f2.0, FA50mm 1.4 and A*85mm f1.4. First is a series with all lenses set at f2.8, then with largest aperture for each lens. The shots were all at the lenses' shortest focusing distance. The pictures are shot in RAW, post processed for increased contrast but no sharpening and lastly resized for the web.

Cool illustration of the DoF and bokeh in respect of different focal length of the lens used. Not many people has such array of top rated lenses

BTW there is a rare A*200mm macro available now a bit under the prevalent ebay sales price (well just US$2200). That is somewhat like a wishlist for a lottery winner.
