I think there is still a few days before the Lunar New Yr. Anyway because of the weekend there were some celebration in Toronto this Sunday

Daniel, I hope you are going to get some shots of the dragon dances. I only wish we could add sound to these to hear those drums and cymbals!

I think the costumes refered to some folklore in China with quite a bit of modification for present day scenario. I never saw something so brightly colored. I am sure the celebration in Hong Kong , where I came from 20 yrs ago, is more spectacular.
