Hey BIG, Those are really beautiful shots. It reminds me of what I like best about photography, wildlife in their natural habitat. You obviously have very fine equipment, and I would like to know, generally, what you use for such excellent results. BTW, the first is my favorite. It shows a lot of artistry on your part.

Just my opinion,

Now when you've sorted out the technical side, like sharpness, you move on to the artistic bit of it. My favourites in this set are #2 and the last one.

OE I use a Sigma APO 50-500mm EX DG f/4-6.7 lens and a Pentax K10D. Also have a Sigma APO EX DG 1.4X Tele Converter I use with it sometimes. Most photos are taken from 25 feet-70 feet distance of my front porch while I sit in a rocker in the early morning! Thanks for looking in on these!

I don't know about artistic but I am working on better composition and presentation with the use of Photoshop Kjell. Thanks for the comments! A few of these are more exercises in Comp than sharp!

Hi Dawg,
these shots are amazing. Looks like the BIGMA is under control now.
Excellent composition on all, but my favourite is #2, because of the lovely bouquet.

bye alex

Thank you Alex...The Bigma is no longer such a wild thing and day by day I gain more control. I'm not the master yet but it is slowly becoming a servant and good friend!
