Stupid question. I just bought a Pentax 360 Flash, for my K10D, but I am baffled as to how to remove the hot shoe cover, from the hot shoe on the K10D. Nothing in the manual that I can find. It has little built up lines on it, so I tried to push down gently and then pull it out toward the back of the camera.

Can't get it. What am I doing wrong ?

place your k10d with the lens towards you. take the thumb of your dominant hand and place it over the hot show cover. push away from you.

lol, looks like i was a minute too late. enjoy your new flash! beware of the battery cover though. they tend to fly open all on their own.

Difficult little thing - it's amazing how much work it takes to remove it. I find my flash fits as (if not more) tightly.

I found it to be easier to get on and off once it has been removed a few times.

Probably true. I tend to just use the flash off-camera so I don't have to struggle with it.
