My evening got pretty interesting. As I was getting set to try my new K10 out, my oldest daughter called to say that she was engaged! So, we went over to see her and her beau. This is really like the 15th shot...I'm really happy for her--he's a great guy (even though he owns a Canon DSLR).

You could always get them a real nice pentax lens as a wedding gift, maybe he will get the right idea. :-)

LOL! Looks like you won't have any trouble with your new camera - such a wonderful picture. And at least her fiance is a photographer - you'll have lots to talk about when your daughter gets alltied up over the wedding plans.

Her finance is a graphic artist who owns his own business and is doing quite well. The wedding itself could get real interesting--they want a Destination Wedding in the US Virgin Islands. Based on this, it will be a very small wedding (maybe 14 people total including the bride and groom). They've done quite a bit of research on the whole thing, so I guess I'll just wait and see what it's going to cost me...
