If you saw one, there is probably at least two, and there on the comeback since they banned DDT. My Sister in Wisconsin, sent me pictures of a Mountain Lion in the backyard of their summer home. Everything is on the comeback. Its just too bad we lost a lot of species to DDT.

conditions were so bad i'm surprised i got anything.. bleary,cold, and 30+ winds. these were saved with PP to the max. i may take a ride out there today. these were shot with the tammy300 & 1.4TC. guess i could try the 2x.

I shot my ospry with the Tamron 70-300 didnt have the 1.4X back then wish I had.

Yes I was a tad closer than 50 yards, maybe 10 yards, he was just sitting on a old broken down pier, I walked up as close asI could started taking pictures about 20 yards out and kept up as I slowly moved forword.

It helps that I no longer have to work for a living, and like Mr Dawg, I can watch and photograph birds all day long.

I have no luck whatsoever in Toronto lately. Osprey is entirely out of question in my area .

You got that with your short 300mm screw mount lens?
