Hi all.
A friend of mine just asked me where to buy cameras on the internet. My suggestion was B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/). Does you guys or girls have any other suggestions or pros and cons to different sites?

Thanks
Geir

Adorama, Ritz Camera, and Newegg are all highly regarded places to buy from. If you ever have a question about a dealer, check out resellerrating.com Ther are some really bad ones out there, so watch out.

17th st photo http://www.17photo.com/is very good.

Here's the url for resellerratings.com where they are reviewed quite favorably:

I've used B&H and can't recommend them highly enough. They've collected a fair amount of my money - 3 cameras, a lens or two, several otheritems and I've never had trouble with any of the items. The last lens I bought wasfrom buydig.com and they seemed reliable, too. I've heard good things about adorama, and if you are in the market for used equipment, check out keh.com.

I have nothing but good things to say about B&H. I have ordered plenty from them. Both my FA Limiteds, my FA 35mm, my Bigma, and now a K20D! My new camera will be here on Thursday. I can't wait!

If your friend is in Norway, Scandinavian Photo and Cyberphoto are good alternatives. It's a case-to-case question which is the cheaper. I've bought from both.

I'll throw in calumetphoto.com to the mix. They have a number of brick and mortars around as well, and are very reputable, both online and in person.
