Here are some cloud shots color processed in Picasa. Tell me what you think. They are experiments so I really am looking for commentsas sweet and kind or as cruel and heartless as you feelthey need to be!

This first shot is pretty much the original color of the sky

The next 3 are tinted just to see what sort of effect could be produced!

i don't really care for the magenta, but i think it is because i like the colors of the original much better. the orange tint one i think is awesome.

Simply agree with Ishino, and I might add that the trees in the forefront add a lot of depth and contrast to the composition.

I'm not the best one to answer this question, because this type of thing really isn't my thing. However, I really like the last one - that one came out looking realistic. While I often like graphic things you can do with Photoshop, it's not really my "thing."

Ishino, Kjell and Harriet, Thanks for the comments. I think I agree with you about the orange color.

All eye catching but too colorful for a surreal look. The purple draws my eye faster...

I like the third one best. More realistic.

I'm with Harriett. I struggled when I took a Photoshop class and had to do things like this. I felt like I was ruining the photo.

Thanks for commenting Dawg and Patty.I don't know that I would actually print any thing like this, but I wanted to give it a try!
