Thanks Ed.

I get to Canada twice a year, summer and winter. This is on my wifes parents farm. It was about 10 degrees. The fog was lifting and everything had this really cool hoar frost.

The quality of pictures so far is awesome - I love the hoar frost. That tree growing out of the rock is a wonderful picture, even if it isn't an entry.

I'm changing my picture to this one. I took it this evening when I got home. I like the colors.

I'm with you, Harriet, the tree growing out of the rock is stellar! All the entries are really good.:-)

Beautiful and interesting selection of trees.. a growing collection, i'd say.. It is so nice to shere a point of view.. Thank you for the keeping a company to each other.. since we are in the beggining of the month, there should be quite a lot of changes further.. and that's nice!

Having missed last month's challenge I'll just enter this as a place marker and hope for something better in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

this is a JPG straight from the GX-10, no PP only a crop to 4:3 ratio (which also cut off the almost obligatory dust) and a resize

Wow, I just saw Harriett's entry - fantastic!

We're having a pretty good storm tonight. I shot this through an upstairs window.

I love all the snow and bare tree pictures. The best I could come up with is an orange tree in bloom. Normally they have groves picked before the trees are coming in bloom but this grove remains unharvested.

2many - I like your new picture - very interesting lines! Orange blossoms and snow storms, both are really wonderful. Love all the variety that are being posted - it's a fun topic.

From Friday evening (when I posted the shot from an upstairs window)to Sunday morning we had about 2 feet of snow. We were below the seasonal average for snowfall coming into the week end, and now we are over the seasonal average.

For liveview purposes, and I don't me through the LCD screen, I'll take the orange blossoms.
