Tachikoma, glad you broke your rules and posted this one. It is easy on the eyes.

Late entry, I know - but due to the bad/dull weather I wasn't really in the mood for taking outdoor pictures. Anyway - today we had some sun in the afternoon and I went to the zoo with the whole family. This is a peek-through-the-bushes view on a small creek a bit aside from the "follow-the-masses" route. The yellow-reddish color is from the evening sun. I was standing on a bridge like the one you can see in the background. The image has a bit of that first real sunny afternoon in it. Taken with *ist DL2 and Kiron-M 80-200. Only resized and minor histogram works plus sharpen for web view.

There are still hours left of the month, so here's my entry. This K20D thing and CS3/CR will take it's time to come to terms with.

I like it, Kjell, it's got kind of a "log-rythm" to it.

It's interesting to rotate it 90 degrees CCW also.

It's voting time!

Wow, what a difficult decision this month. These are extraordinary shots from everybody.

I had to break it down to the wow factor and for me that was Irena's blossoms and bunny. Fantastic colors and the rabbit naturally composed himself. An eyepopping photo.

This was the hardest choice I've participated inof these challenges.

This was a tough challege subject for me--just could not get any good ideas for the theme this month. But I have to hand it to Kjell for his last minute entry. Great composition, excellent lighting (use of shadows), and a most creative interpretation of the subject.

My vote unequivocally goes to Kjell!

Even though Tachikoma's could use a little more contrast, I really like the composition and the soft trees with the rather stark background roofs. So I'm going with it!

Lots of good entries. I like the contrast of Dennis (Driver3) photo with the white covered trees next to the red structure, however my vote will go to the B&W of Mike (MDW43).
