The 12 Hours of Sebring event starts tomorrow morning with the 12 hour race on Saturday. The race teams are in running practice and qualifying type runs and there are literally thousands of people camping waiting for the gates to open tomorrow morning so they can go inside and camp some more.

I had to send a couple of detectives out to deal with some camper burglarizing and took the opportunity to escape the office. These are my warmup shots of the warmup races. Hopefully I can get more and better during the real races.

All shot with the K10d and Tamron 180mm. My goal was panning shots so I set TV to 1/125.

Last one. Saturday I am patrolling a zone rather than supervising and my partner for the day has an interest in digital photography. I am planning to let him use the k100 and see if I can convert him to being a Pentaxian.

Thanks for looking,

Tim

Come on down. I have a couch and I can probably get you a free ticket as well. It will be in the mid 80s this weekend so bring shorts!

All I can say is very nice! I've never had any luck with panning, so I really appreciate good race shots.

Mid 80's sounds good, although last Friday it was -11F and today it was 55F so we are having sort of a heat wave too.
