Dr. Cif you still are in my stomping grounds give me a hollerfor a Pentaxian meetup. Great image but maybe add a little contrast to bring out the 9:01. Check out the Memorial at night, it's a whole differentatmospherewith the chairs lit up. Did you go into the museum?

The FA35 is a very loveable lens, and you used it well.

Very nice shot. I have seen many recommendations for this lens and, considering the price difference, it seems to compare well against the 31mm limited. You did a great job with the composition on this one.

Great shots and lens. It is just pathetic. I think Kjell and Ira have the same lens too. We can't get away from the spell of prime lens even in a non-lens forum

Thanks for the comments.

Wish I had titled the post "The Oklahoma City National Memorial." The Memorial, and especially the museum,is such an overwhelming and powerful emotional experience that I should have given it top billing, not the FA35.

When I approached the entrance, I was so awed that I forgot to check my ISO, which was still set for the interior botanical garden shots, forgot to change from the vacation JPEG setting to RAW, and, in general, just stumbled around trying to absorb the stunning work that people did to ensure that those who died, those who survived, those who grieved their losses, and those who helped were appropriately honored and respected.

Regards, Lawrence

Great shot. I am away from home right now and all I have with me is the DL with the FA35. I now have the philosophical equivalent to one of the fast 50mm fixed lens rangefinder cameras that were so popular in the 1960s and 1970s. What I lose in focal length flexibility I regain in IQ and low light performance.

I also love the FA35.

Here is a shot from tonight: It was done quickly at an airport atf2.8, 1/30, ISO1600 hand held with a focus error (my fault).

No matter how you had the camera set that is a great shot, very sharp and the color is fantastic.
