I know most of you Northern denizens are tired of Winter and the snow. But I love the change of seasons and the beauty in it. These are a few pix from the blizzard that swung through the Ohio Valley last weekend. DL + Sigma 28-105.

Jay

I'm interested in feedback on the lens flare--I think it adds to the image!

Hi Jay,

I'm definitely tired of winter. After about 7 years of really mild winters, we had a winter that more resembled what I fondly remember as a kid growing up in Chicago. Multiple significant snows that didn't melt off right away and colder than normal temps. That was @ 50 years ago, and I've gained a different perspective. . .:?:

That doesn't change your shots tho -- Good work! I especially like #2, and I strangely like the colored flare(?) in #1.

I'd agree with Scott - my favorite is the second one, and the flare in the first one is rather interesting. That's quite a bit of snow you had!

Great series Jay,

I never get tired of snow pictures, but then we have about 5days something that looks like snow a year. So I don't have to deal with it.

Nr2 is also my fav.
