Looking for opinions here. The photo is the same, shot in raw+

#1 is the jpeg. Bright mode, +1 Contrast, +2 Sharpness & +1 Saturation WB set to daylight,

#2 is the raw. PP'd with just some very slight adjustments. WB set to auto, and minor contrast and exposure adjustment

Which shot do you find more appealing?

TIA

I like the second version. The first one is way too yellow. The second much more natural loking. Just my take.

as i dont know the true colour
(coming from a land where the ground is red )
i like the first one
it seems ro have more detail in the rocks
the water looks a bit over exposed though

As Gumnut said, I don't know the true colour but what I do notice is that the dynamic range of the second image is much better. The jpeg has too much contrast while the RAW conversion has a very broad range. The result is that the first image has more visual impact (due to the contrast) but the second image has far more detail in the brighter areas.

Nice composition BTW.

Less in more in this case. The second definitely. This is a nice capture as well.

I like them both, but the rocks at the bottom on the first one look more natural to me. Maybe its my screen, but then I like the warmer colors anyway. By the way, we lived inToccoafor a year andhalf when we were home in the States. Our kids went to College there. Have you ever been to the falls in Toccoa? They don't have quite the character of Amicalola, but they are pretty nice none the less.
