Cranes are still hanging around because of the weather backlash. A little snow on the ground helps for better light, as does the clear sky. Allowed me to stop down two steps, and that actually helped a lot when using the TC

All shot with A*600mm+Rear converter A2XS.

Very nice Kjell--I agree: the snow makes for a nice backgrop. Would love to see the cranesin person.

Hi Kjell,

Very well done, especially at 1200mm! IMO, distant shots at very long FL are the most difficult. A max aperture of f11 and MF just makes it more impressive.

Courtship dances of cranes are alwaysspectacular shows. Nice captures. Thanks for posting these.
