Excellent shot, I love how the carved out area on the tree matches the shape of the bird. A rare opportunity and you got it right.

Thank you all for the comments. I was about 25-30 feet away and he was about 5-6 feet higher than myself. I wanted as large a file as possible to make a large print so I screwed on my Oly 1.7 tele to the Tamron 18-250. With conditions so favorable I could not notice any degradation using the tele. A good day for me.
