Well.. I have been reading a bit about K10D today.. And then I came to a firmware question.. The latest version available is 1.30.. I have checked my camera.. It says, v.1.00.. On pentax site they have offered already sever updates, ie. V1.10, 1.20, and now also 1.30..

A question is the following - do I have to get them all, or will be enough to get only the last one.. v 1.30.. actually this is what I am going to do.. waiting for a full charged battery before to update a camera..

A description of updates makes a good reason to do that..

Any experience in this matter here, in forum?

Thanks!

I belive the 1.3 update is cumulative. You do not neet the intermediate ones. I performed the update and it went without a hitch. Have fully charged batteries and follow the instructions and things should go smoothly

The versions are cumulative - you don't need to install them all. Version 1.30 added support to the SDM lenses, and that's the version I'm using. Some people prefer to use an earlier version because there's a hack way of adjusting back or front focus for lenses. That backdoor was closed in version 1.30. I'd be too afraid of messing something up to try the hack fix for my back-focus problem (which aren't that bad) and I love SDM on the DA*50-135 so to me upgrading to 1.30 is a no-brainer.

Thank you for the response!

I've done already.. Have checked also a description of previous updates.. The menu system shows all the functions from the previous updates.. so this one is no more an issue for me..

Regards,
