Good idea - there are so many wonderful pictures here, and there's still quite a bit of month left.

I decided to enter this one of the woman from my other thread. I cropped it a bit. It was taken with the DL and the Tamron 24-135 at 135mm. f11, 1/800. As you can see it was bright sunshine so I had the exposure bias at at -1.

Glenn - you know you are making it all that much tougher to make a choice with this picture, don't you? I just love this shot.

Today was the first day to go out and play with my new K100d. Having read this challenge earlier, I looked for a good texture opportunity. That said, here's my shot of riverwood I think I used the 200mm on this one.

I haven't had a chance to welcome Alpo, pdgirl and trilou to the forum. And nice pictures as well!

Hi all, due to work overload and not really coming to terms with my K20D yet I've not been very active on the forum lately. Loads of nice pictures posted, I can see as I browse through the threads.

Can't ignore the monthly challange, though. My contribution is the entrance door to the watchtower at one of the old castles around here (I live in a very castle-dense area).

There is a story about the marks in the door. A group of pensioners stood in front of it, and the guide telling the well-known story about these marks being authentical bullet holes from the 15th century Swedish/Danish wars. A loud whisper is heard from the rear of the group: "heck no they ain't, me and my little brother made them with a hammer and a five inch nail when we were kids and invented the story about the bullet holes".

Love the picture and the story, Kjell!

In one of the libraries there's a floor tile with a seal. The librarians will tell you that it's supposed to bebad luck to walk on it. I thought that was a good tale to tell so people won't walk on it and it won't get worn down over the years.
