@bahadir

Thanks bahadir, it does have some strange distortions instead of rounding the image is gets a kind of wave form.

This only is a problem when you have lines on the edge of the image.
http://waalsdorp.nl/~alson/uwa-distortion-ptlens/ has some nice comparisons on corrections with photoshop and ptlens.

further shots of the building are coming.

Thanks for the comperative link, Ronny! The PTLens seems to be doing quite a decent job for the SigmaAnyway, as it also writes there: ''how often do you use a ruler to check if the horizon is straight? Especially if there are less prominent straight lines accross the whole frame.'':!:I should also say that, I found the photozone distortion test for the Sigma 10-22 veryimpressive!!

Cool shots. Like them all.

I have the lens and it is lots of fun: it opens many areas of photography for me I did not explore before.

I noticed the waving distortions myself: hard to correct. If I can I stick with 14mm. Or otherwise I down sample to 6MP in Photoshop and that gets rid of some of it.
