Incredible detail - right down to the "eyelashes." My sales resistance has been pretty high lately, but keep this sort of stuff up and you folks are going to cost me money! CBA is worse than LBA, because they go obsolete faster!

Hi Kjell, penolta, Patty, and Daniel,

Thanks for looking and for the nice comments.

I'm hoping to get better results (or at least as good, more consistently). With the K20's ability to adjust focus points, I should be able to dial it in a bit further. Hopefully there will be enough adjustment to correct the front focusing of this combo. For these, it's set to -5. Next time I shoot with this lens, I'll try at -10.

I've found that with some lenses, the only way to test them for this is to shoot them extensively and see where it actually focuses in the field. With this lens combo, the DOF is very shallow at close distances, so critical focus is very important to get the details.

Kjell, the PP workflow is definitely different for me. I've been trying somewhat outside-the-box techniques to get the results I like, and am making progress. Of course, everything will probably change as time goes on, but I think I'm making progress.
